MJR Professional Development Consultants is a bilingual professional services corporation operating in Puerto Rico since January 2006.

We specialize in Federal Grants Writing and Project Management. We go through strategy design and formulation to management and compliance.

Our staff comprises experienced professionals with federal management experience, grants writers, educators, attorneys, engineers, project managers, human resources, and budgeting specialists. The principal and strategist, Mayra J. Ramírez, has over 30 years of experience writing grants and managing federal, state, and local federal programs.

PROPOSAL PREPARATION

Let MJR Professional prepares a winning proposal to secure your business goals - We assess your organizational needs and potential and assist the owner in decision-making We design a strategy based on your request, including budgeting, structuring, staff roles and assignments, and subject experts for the project. We engage stakeholders and create partnerships, alliances for collaboration efforts if needed; conduct research and write your grant proposal; handle the proposal transmittal and submission; prepare applications for federal funding and manage the overall process to meet deadlines

GRANTS MANAGEMENT

Let MJR Professional be your partner for the management, tracking, and completion of your federal funded projects - We have a great deal of experience in oversight regarding award terms and conditions, including policies and regulations; we plan the grant implementation including policies and procedures; we manage the grant from the start to the end; we provide training, technical assistance and regulatory and ethical advice. We serve as a liaison between our clients and other stakeholders to clarify, interpret and solve any issues during the project. At the end, we conduct surveys and evaluations to suggest any changes in policies, procedures or regulations.

AUDITING & COMPLIANCE

We at MJR Professionl have vast experience and knowledge to monitor all activities to ensure that the you complies with federal and state requirements; we monitor your project to make sure that the funds are used as specified by the federal program; we provide compliance management, tracking and reporting services throughout the lifecycle of the project. We monitor, assesses and measure your organization’s performance during the federal funded project; including initiating and implementing an auditing process when needed. We also make sure that your organization meets all federal funded project follows all federal regulations including environmental requirements. We conduct compliance postmortem evaluations to identify potential problems, document the lessons learned, make appropriate adjustments or disallowances, process close-outs; and ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements
